Introducing the Yosemite National Park Challenge. Over 3½ months starting on Earth Day (April 22) and wrapping up on July 31 you can cross off some of the most celebrated sites Yosemite has to offer from your bucket list . It is the most iconic national park in the United States. We welcome you to join us on the ultimate virtual challenge through this famed landscape. Track yourself on the interactive map as you log your mileage and circumnavigate 250 miles of some of Yosemite’s greatest natural wonders. Your adventure begins on the South Rim and finishes at the foot of El Capitan. We’ll be sharing everything in-between: waterfalls, colossal domes, subalpine meadows and high sierra camps. This event is produced by Fleet Feet for NatureBridge.
Meet our Beneficiary
Fleet Feet understands the profound impact of spending time outdoors. Whether you’re running through your neighborhood, climbing El Capitan or sitting on your balcony watching the stars, being outside ignites discovery and inspires wonder.
The sole beneficiary for the Yosemite Challenge is NatureBridge, the oldest and largest residential education partner of the National Park Service. For 50 years, NatureBridge has been bringing students from around the country to national parks to engage in scientific principles firsthand, explore ecological concepts and think critically, all while discovering the joy of the outdoors.
